highoncruel asked: i could see that. but also if you think racism only comes from white people (not YOU, but people in general) you arent taking into account the numerous prejudices held by every minority. also the video isnt called "shit ignorant white people say" or "shit ignorant people say" or even "shit women say", its "shit white women say" which happens to, whether it aims to or not, attack a group i am (unfortunately) a part of. thats my concern. all of this is super devils-advocate of me bcuz who cares.

I mean do you want an award for being a decent human being or something? Also, many people like to see racism = power + prejudice so going off of that definition people of color can’t be racist but can sure be prejudiced. I guess you could say I fall into the group of people that feel this way.

Just because you’re part of the special group of white people that actually aren’t fucking ignorant doesn’t excuse the fact that a majority of white people do say these things and it’s aggravating. Though to be honest it should say people as opposed to just women because not just women are guilty of what is being said in each of these videos.

And when the “shit men say to women” video comes out( if it hasn’t already) I won’t be angry because there will be a great deal of truth to it. Rather than get mad I’ll look at it and see how I can help alleviate the problem.

At the end of the day, you know you’re not guilty of anything in the videos so just listen to some jawbreaker and have a couple of porch beers
