He just retired after his wife died to raise his kids which I think is pretty awesome. Also, last appearance was technically Honey We Shrunk Ourselves which came out a couple of years after Little Giants. He was one of the moose in Brother Bear and in the sequel but those were just voice acting gigs.
I mean I miss Rick Moranis as much as the next person but I respect his decision to retire from acting.
